Profil

The quiet family campsite Val d'Or is located in the north of Luxembourg. You are here in the middle of the Ardennes and the German-Luxembourg Nature Park. Ideal for long walks, hikes or mountain bike excursions. The campsite itself is … a beautiful resting place, situated in the golden valley (Val d'Or). In this valley, many yellow flowers bloom in the summer months. The green campsite area is divided into two parts by the river de Clerve. Most of the pitches are at the back of the campsite. In front you will find the hikers' cabins and mobile homes. Camping for an active public On this car-free campsite, you will quickly feel united with nature. Your neighbours are mainly nature lovers. Hikers, cyclists, walkers and active families feel at home at this campsite. After an active day, you can relax on the terrace of the restaurant and replenish your energy supply. You can order dishes from the menu here, but a take-away meal is also possible. In addition, you can get your breakfast here every morning, which is delivered fresh from the local baker. Playing with water There is plenty for children to do at Camping Val d'Or. The campsite area is actually one big playground with many grass fields, sports fields, playgrounds and of course the river. The playgrounds have nice play equipment to play with water and sand. There is also a special water playground. The water of the river is very shallow, so the smallest campers can splash and build dams to their heart's content here. The campsite restaurant is a small bistro with a cosy terrace. The bistro is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Organic coffee, a good beer, Luxembourgish wine and delicious ice cream are always available. In the mini shop at the reception you will find a small assortment of various products such as coffee & tea, sweet spreads, fresh cheese and meat products, fresh milk and desserts, but also sweets, toys and household items. We also sell the Luxembourg beers and wines that are on the bistro menu.
