"nice and clean - A small and very nice campsite at the river (Buna). The owner is very nice and helpful. There is a kitchen with fridge, stove, pots and plates, a sitting area and two showers with hot water - everything is very clean. Mostar and the Kravice Waterfalls are close, so it's the perfekt base for daytrips. We really enjoyed our stay.

"netter sehr kleiner Camp im schönen Blagaj - Der Camp besitzt nur ca. 6 Stellplätze die wunderschön am Fluss liegen. Es gibt im Ort einen Supermarkt und gegenüber des Flusses zwei Restaurants wo wir lecker und preiswert den Abend verbracht haben. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und spricht englisch. Er hat uns sogar mit seinem Wagen nach Mostar gefahren. Er gibt bei Ankunft jegliche Informationen die man benötigt. Für mich ein Geheimtipp- Camp für einen Besuch in Mostar oder der schönen Umgebung. Sanitär ist zweckmäßig und reicht für ein paar Nächte aus. Ideal für Kastenwagen, Busse und Zelter. Grosse Womos passen leider nicht auf den Platz.

"Loved it here - would return in a minute if I was ever in BiH again. - I was so happy here that I stayed 10 days. I would happily return if I was ever anywhere nearby again. I loved the area, I loved the host, I loved the whole country, but this was my favourite place of all.

"sehr hübscher und gepflegter Minicamping direkt am Fluss - wunderbare Lage, Besuch im naheliegenden Derwisch-Kloster (15 Min. Fussweg) empfehlenswert. Man wird sehr freundlich mit umfassenden Informationen zu Blagaj und Mostar versorgt. Bus nach Mostar 5 Minuten Fussweg. Im gegenüberliegenden Restaurant Most gibts frische gegrillte Forellen. Sanitärräume sehr sauber. Unser Labrador Sally wurde nicht berechnet, weil sie zum Bellen zu faul ist :-)

"Without doubt, the best campsite in Bosnia - We stayed at River Camp Aganovac twice. The first time we took a quick detour into southern BiH on our way down through Croatia in October 2015. We were so impressed and delighted with the place that, when we returned to travel through BiH in February 2016, we knew that we had to stay there again. This campsite is a wonderful spot to park your van or erect your tent and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It is not too far to Mostar, which is easily reachable by bus, and Blagaj itself is home to numerous gems which can be explored on foot from the campsite. And then there's the river, of course, which flows through the campsite and offers the most gorgeous soundscape to fall asleep to. However, the main reason I wanted to write this review is because of the owner, Nedzad. My wife and I have been travelling through Europe in our motorhome for the last year, and I can quite honestly say with all objectivity that Nedzad is one of the most helpful and kind campsite owners that we have ever met. Since we were visiting in the quiet winter months, business was quiet for him, but he went out of his way to provide us with everything we needed. Indeed, while we were there, I inadvertently smashed my wife's laptop screen. I asked Nedzad if he knew a place in Mostar where we might get it fixed. He not only knew a place, he drove us there in his car, waited with us while it was fixed (for a very cheap price, which Nedzad negotiated for us), and then drove us back again. This is just one of the many kindnesses which he displayed to us during both our stays. I cannot recommend this campsite, and Nedzad with it, highly enough. If you happen to find yourself in Mostar (and I would recommend that, too - a truly beautiful city), there is no better place to camp than Aganovac. Thank you for everything, Nedzad - for your help, your company and your conversation. We remain deeply indebted to you. To everyone else, I will say just two words - STAY HERE!

GPS Co-ordinates: N 43'15.452'- E 017'53.290' The River Camp Aganovac is very small campground, situated on the bank of the Buna river at the central part of the old town of Blagaj. The camp is the ideal setting to …vacate and relax on the banks of the Buna river whose cold water ( temp 8'C) will help you stay refreshed during hot summer months. The necessary infrastructure is provided. We have a camper’s kitchen equipped with two stoves, refrigerator, pots and pans and all the necessary cutlery. This kitchen is especially suitable for guests with tents like backpackers and bikers. In the immediate vicinity of the campground you can find many grocery stores, bakery and meat shop as well as several restaurants where you can taste many Bosnian specialties and top quality wines. During your stay, you can visit many historical amenities of the town of Blagaj. Near of campsite( 20 min walk distance-or we could provide you free charged less than 5 min car transportation)is new sports climbing site. The campground operates as part of the Aganovac household - our family will do their best to make you feel at home. Come and see the natural beauties and cultural-historical heritage of Blagaj, Mostar and Herzegovina region. The campground´s geographical position offers you this opportunity. You can even make day trips to Sarajevo or Dubrovnik!!! The campground is open throughout the year. To make sure your camping pitches are available we advise you to make a reservation! Welcome!!!
